Sine Metu Isabella is a Miniature Xoloitzcuintli bred by Sine Metu and now living in Bansko, Bulgaria, in the heart of the Balkan mountains. Since moving to Bulgaria in 2023, Isabella has become an outstanding representative of the Sine Metu breeding program, achieving an impressive collection of national and international champion titles across Europe.
Her story is an example of what we value at Sine Metu: not simply producing beautiful dogs, but developing Xoloitzcuintli with strong structure, excellent skin quality, distinctive breed type, stable character and the potential to succeed both in the show ring and in a carefully planned breeding program.
Isabella was bred at Sine Metu and moved to her new home in Bansko, Bulgaria, in 2023.
Bansko is a mountain town surrounded by the Pirin Mountains, and Isabella has grown up in this beautiful part of Bulgaria while remaining closely connected to the Sine Metu breeding program.
Her owner, Elena Kulikova, has continued to work with Isabella according to the breeding principles and vision of Sine Metu.
This is particularly important to us.
At Sine Metu, our relationship with our dogs does not end when a puppy leaves our kennel. When one of our dogs becomes part of a breeding program abroad, we remain involved in the process, sharing our knowledge and helping to make thoughtful decisions about health, structure, pedigree and future pairings.
Isabella is one of those dogs.
Since 2024, Isabella has actively participated in international dog shows.
Her show career has been remarkable.
Rather than achieving a single national title and stopping there, Isabella has continued to travel and compete internationally, becoming a champion in different countries.

Isabella has exceptionally good skin.
Her skin is soft, delicate and remarkably clean, with very little tendency toward the common skin issues that can sometimes be seen in hairless dogs.
She has naturally smooth skin with minimal visible acne, comedones or other imperfections.
For a hairless Xoloitzcuintli, skin quality is an important consideration in breeding.
We want to preserve not only the characteristic hairlessness of the breed, but also healthy, functional and easy-to-maintain skin.
Isabella represents exactly the type of skin quality we value in our breeding program.
Isabella also has a distinctly feminine appearance.
Her head is feminine and elegant, while her overall structure is balanced and harmonious. She combines the delicacy expected in a female with the strong anatomical qualities necessary for a successful show and breeding dog.
Her body structure is one of the reasons she has been so successful in the show ring.
In 2026, Isabella returned to Sine Metu for a carefully planned breeding.
This was an international mating between Bulgaria and Ukraine, bringing together a female living and successfully competing in Bulgaria with a male from the Sine Metu breeding program.
The father of the litter was Sine Metu Cris Wilkoria, one of our own males.
For this breeding, Isabella came to stay with us at Sine Metu, and we personally organized and coordinated the mating process.
This type of cooperation is an important part of our approach to breeding.
We do not see geographical borders as a reason to separate dogs from a carefully planned breeding program. When a particular combination of bloodlines, structure and type makes sense, international matings can allow breeders to work together and preserve the qualities they consider important.
In this case, the combination of Sine Metu Isabella × Sine Metu Cris Wilkoria was planned with exactly that philosophy in mind.
The puppies were born on May 18, 2026.
From the very beginning, this litter has been exceptionally promising.
Isabella contributes her feminine type, beautiful bronze coloring, excellent skin quality and elegant structure.
Cris brings a strong male type, excellent body construction and a particularly impressive topline and underline, creating a complementary combination with Isabella.
The result is a litter that we are extremely happy with.
The puppies have developed into beautiful, balanced Miniature Xoloitzcuintli with qualities that reflect both parents.
For us, this litter is more than simply a successful mating. It represents the continuation of a breeding program that connects Sine Metu dogs, European homes and carefully selected bloodlines across borders.
Isabella's story is also part of something larger.
Sine Metu dogs are now living and participating in breeding or show programs in different European countries. Bulgaria is one of the countries where a Sine Metu Xolo has made a particularly strong impression.
Isabella demonstrates how a dog bred in Ukraine can move to another European country, become a successful international show dog and later return to the Sine Metu breeding program for an important international mating.
This is the kind of long-term cooperation we value.
Our goal is not simply to place puppies in different countries. We want to build relationships with owners and breeders who share our approach to the Miniature Xoloitzcuintli and who want to contribute thoughtfully to the future of the breed.
